Why Daepo Port, Not Seongsan
Seongsan is the sunrise side of Jeju — the name "Seongsan Ilchulbong" literally means Sunrise Peak. Beautiful in the morning, less interesting at golden hour.
Daepo, on the south coast near Jungmun, faces west. When the sun drops toward the horizon, you don't need to reposition the boat or fight for the right side of the deck. The light comes to you.
